I have a lot of solid wood to pack up in my bsmt, and was looking at the 1/2in polyester strapping that is used to bundle hdwd flooring .Amazon sells a 1/2in 1500 ft white roll for abt $40. I/m guessing one must need some sort of dispenser , not sure which one to get ?, or if the 1/2in is good enough to tie up bundles of lumber weighing between 30-50 lbs.If you have had experiences with these items and can make some suggestions, I :D would appreciate your help thanks.

I've used this packing film for bundling lumber. http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.a ... 3456,43391 I bought some at a dept. store for cheaper, and seen it at dollar stores as well. The straping will certainly work, but it can leave gummy residue. You can put paper towel under the tape to remedy this.

+1. Purchase from local suppliers and it's cheaper. works great.
